Mother's little baby/angel. The child that can do no wrong in mother's eyes, and always cries wolf when things don't go her way.

The serious looking news anchor was a mama's girl, which was why she always used soft language like romantically challenged to explain that nobody wanted to put up with her bullshit all the time, and as painful as she might find the rejection, the world was bigger than her (and for many people, there were things in life far more painful than rejection).
