Comfortable Friends

Two friends that are comfortable with each other to do anything and talk about anything. This is very close to an open relationships the only difference is that you are not labeling it as a relationship.

A comfortable friends is someone you can feel 100% yourself around them. the first thing the pops into your head you can say or do around them and they can to you. you are never weirded out by them and vice-versa.

often time relationship can be 'down-graded' to Comfortable Friends status. since Comfortable friends status give you to the joy of thier company in the same way as the relationship (the physical and the emomtional aswell as the stupid hanging outs) without the preasure or stigmas of beinging in a realtionship.

I get along with this one guy so well, but I don't want to be tied down so we are comfortable friends

"are you and mike going out, sarah?"
"no not anymore, we are just comforable friends"

being comfortable friends just seems to work better for john and myself, we are a little more grounded to other parts of life now.

summer friend

person(s) who are only acceptable to hang out with during the summer; or person(s) that only make sense to hang out with during the summer months due to vacationing proximity (ie., shore rental towns) when otherwise varying chosen professions, walks of life, circle of friends would render the friendship null and void.

Tom and I are just summer friends. I texted him on May 15th to let him know his house was being rob, but i received no response. When I texted him May 22nd, he immediately invited me to three house parties, offered me a place to crash all summer, and suggested we plan some summer happy hour events.

Best Friend

Someone you trust completely. They are your shoulder to cry on and are ready to dig the graves. They listen and they tell you when you are being stupid. People tend to mistake them as your significant other because they don't understand the kind of love you can have without being in a romantic relationship. They might as well be family if they aren't already. They will last the test of time. Even when you seem like complete opposites they simply balance you out. You can show up at their house at anytime and they wouldn't think twice. You don't let anyone come between you two. You can fight and you can call each other every name in the book but if you need help they will be there for you. And if anyone hurts you or them God help their soul because they have to deal with the wrath of a best friend.

Person 1: Why are those to always together? They are nothing alike. Are they dating or something?

Person 2: Them? Nah. For some reason they are best friends

Your best buddy that remembers most everything, big or small, about your life (i.e. where you were born, when your birthday is, how many sisters and brothers you have, etc...).

Duder 1: "You know that foreign kid? Yea right, how?"

Duder 2: "We met like 10 years ago. Don't even try to test me dude. He was born in Orlando, moved to Catania, Italy, came back here during middle school, has one full blood sister, his middle name is Darin, he only dates asian girls and he's scared of spiders. I'm the friend with details, holla!"
