A way to describe something that is not just irritating today, but will continue to annoy long into the future with no signs of relief. Something or, usually, someone who has qualities that would make you so angry and frustrated that you'd consider killing yourself, them or both to escape.
A phrase brilliantly used by Hilary Devey on the BBC show, Dragon's Den: "You would make my foot itch, mate! I'm not amused. I'm angry."
