the word ‘lol’ actually means ‘loss of latrociduals’ latrociduals is your ability to stay serious. if you use ‘lol’ you are saying you have lost the ability to keep a straight face so you are laughing. thus was then shortened to ‘laugh out loud’ because it was easier to say that you are laughing instead of saying you have lost the ability to laugh. did you know this?
