A shark is a passive aggressive individual who may have controlling traits, preys upon others that may be able benefit his or herself, whether financially or other similar means.

Example.

Johnny:

Yeah buddy has serious talent with that music he's been making. He could really blow up and make some money! I heard that he may be getting a record deal with that new label in town.

Friend: Yeah well I heard the CEO of that joint a real Shark. Buddy might think he gonna move somewhere but when he only stacking 30% of the cuts he makes and the rest of the cash going into that CEO's pocket that's when you know you f**king with a shark!
