When you are texting your friend and they randomly stop replying with no explanation, and then about an hour and a half to two hours later, the person replies with their reason.
So today, Bob was texting Susie and during the middle of their conversation, Susie randomly stopped replying for about two hours. Later, she texted Bob back apologizing and saying that she was with her boyfriend or shopping or helping her mother clean their house at 8:00 at night. Bob then texted Susie back saying RAQUEL PAUSE!!!!!!!!
I must deal with this all the time. :

A sexual encounter with anyone in the security or law enforcement community.
Common in places like Baghdad or Kabul where there are numerous security contractors, it occurs most often in the afternoon when a much needed break is needed from the office.
Afternoon quickie. Can occur with a partner or on one's own.

In traffic control, the brief interval when a traffic light shows a red (for "stop") in all directions.
Until the 1970s, most traffic lights would switch red-to-green at the same instant that the other direction went yellow-to-red. Because accidents would sometimes occur at that transition, New York City innovated a phase, usually about three to five seconds, of all-red lights, so the intersection would be completely clear before actuating the green ("go") signal. The "New York pause" has become widespread across the U.S.

The New York pause came to Michigan traffic lights by 1990.
Because drivers are so impatient, we ended up with the New York pause.

The awkward moment when four cars approach a four-way stop intersection at the same time, but no one can remember who should go first. Everyone pauses until someone with natural leadership qualities raises his/her right hand to motion for someone to go.
A four-way pause is when four cars approach a four-way stop intersection. No one moves until one of the people raises his/her hand to motion for someone to move.
