Originally closer to urbane. The misunderstanding of the ebony of pure floating black wood, and the painful beauty of the ivory--of that death must come to visit upon the vistage of a pale complexion (for how else does natural man exist? Surely not without iron, L-carnitine, dietary cholesterol, saturated animal fats, complex anabolic slow digesting sugar, et cetera). For we all must come to bare that said true notion of mortality (even within the existent nature of something more)--we all die. Anyways, this misunderstanding seems to rob the urbane citizen of his cockles. Or it's cockles--as is the style of the time (see ala mode, not ala carte).

So what does urban mean? A sophistication that requires of the possessor a glad absence of Politic in the Grooming of the Self. (See: metrosexual for males, femininity for women)
I met this street smart urban kid with painted nails, and tiny gauge holes in his ears. When I asked him about the body politic he responded with a cool relaxed "naw, I just don't think you'd get it man." Feeling complimented at being given the designation of male--I just kinda went with his version and got out of the ghetto before sundown.
