Get the Friendzonemug. A term used to describe when someone of either sex suddenly gets cold feet or pulls out of a long relationship before making things official without warning. Usually when the other person has strong second thoughts; Sometimes due to social appeal, because of peer pressure, or because the other person has found attraction to someone else.
Historically/Culturally in certain cases; This can be due to stigma relating to the sudden discovery/or knowledge of victims birth or background and the societal pressures of cultural stigma. It can be due to social difference (popularity) and bullying (social hierarchy status).
