The Curve Law states that if someone is ghosted by another individual, they will inevitably lose interest.
Person 1: Hey, did you hear that Jimmy was rejected?

Jumped the curve 

When you get left on read for the first time but then you message them again and their opinion changes of you, allowing you to have another chance of impressing that person and getting the ability to start a relationship with them.

Bell Curve 

A term derived from stock market lingo, basically means that most people will end up with about the same amount of luck in life. You may have bad luck now, good luck 10 years from now, and bad luck 20 years from now. But in the end, it all evens out, unless you put in more work.
He's on top now, but with the Bell Curve, I'll see my day at the top.
