A word for anyone who looks at a horrific event and sees a government conspiracy.

Bobo said that Franklin Roosevelt orchestrated the Japanese attack in order to swing public opinion towards going to war with the Germans. He must be a Pearl Harbor truther.

Truther

A now stereotypical, thereby ad-hominem label for an individual who is sceptical about world events. Such scepticism largely emanated from the events of 9/11.

Some individuals embrace the term while others see it as a convenient label to paint all with the same brush.

Pro: I'm a truther, I look at the empirical evidence that wasn't in the official 9/11 commission report.

Con: You're just another one of those "truthers"! Inside job people.

Noun- One who rejects the accepted explanation of the events of 9/11. Truthers generally believe the U.S. government committed the acts of terrorism against itself.

A word derived from the term "9/11 Truther". Used to describe someone who believes in conspiracy theories and has a distrust towards their government.

John: "Whoa man you're not one of those nutjob conspiracy theorists are you?"

One who sees beyond the government lies at what government does.
One who is not blind and ignorant.

Truther looks beyond lies, Look up USS liberty, 9/11, Mexican congress attempted attacks, attempted attack on the George Washington bridge.

Truther

A "truther" is somebody that confuses nutters, rightwingers, republicans, Hannity, Beck, O'Rielly FOX News pundits etc., by telling them the truth. Such is their nature when telling them the truth and rebutting their lies.

President Bush had a blank confused look on his face when a truther told him there were no WMD's in Iraq.
