trimm trabb

Trimm-trabb is the name of a sneaker made of suede tops by Adidas in 1980. It was followed by Trimm-trab 2 in 1984.

I was curious because of the song of the same name mentions them. I thought it was the name stamped on a bag of heroin, but it makes sense in the context.

The song was written long after the sneaker's were produced.

In the south Indian language of Tamil, thambi means "little brother".

Can be used to call a friend (as a replacement for "bro" or "dude" or the friend's name).

Older brother/sister: "Thambi hurry up! You need to go to school!"

Thambi: "*groans* I don't wanna go to school..."

2nd example:

Friend 1: "Wassup thambi?"

Friend 2: "Wat up dude?"

Batalla De Los Tambores

A unique drum performance often played during a Godsmack concert. Sully Erna and Shannon Larkin will each begin playing a different set of drums in a sort of duel with each other.

They will often include small portions of (modified) classic rock songs from bands such as Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.

Man I just got back from Godsmack's concert. They played Batalla De Los Tambores and it was awesome!
