inverse snobbery

Thinking you're better than other people because you're working class, have a regional accent, don't use big words, read tabloid papers, or for other reasons which are opposite to those which would be involved in "snobbery" in the usual sense.

The argument that people who live in "rough" areas are the only ones who "know" about crime and that everyone else should shut up is just an example of inverse snobbery.

snubbed

When someone see you, you try to start a conversation and they just ignore you.

So, I, Eroswebmaster am out walking around the Fashion Show mall here in Vegas last night with a friend of mine, when I see Zoe.

I say.."Hey Zoe." She just says "Hey," and keeps on walking by.

So, I stop and turn around and say..."it's me, Cary."

She says..."Yeah, I know." And then starts walking away.

I just stood there shocked...She just snubbed me!

To be, or being synonymous with, a wanker. Someone who's unbounding perspicacity is slightly let down by the fact that they're a tosser. A person who's vaunted powers of ratiocination are eclipsed by their general pusillanimous and rodomontade manner. Also a human who can be affiliated with near relatives who happen to be troglodytes.

Dave: Gary has been so snibberish since he joined the Glee club.
Phil: Yes, what a fuckup.
