Small Talk Walk

The art of increasing or decreasing the rate of one's walk in the office or parking lot so as to avoid inane conversation about the weather with fellow associates.

There were simply too many people in the parking lot to make his Small Talk Walk very effective.

When you come across that person you haven't seen in a while, but you really have no close connection with them anyways. But you know... you don't want to be rude and just walk right past them... so then it turns to a complete bullshitting session between you and this aquiantence.

Example conversation:

"YO! Hey whats up man? What you been doing?"
"Oh.. yeah I had a baby and shit..."
"Oh thats cool....."

"OK BYE!"
"BYE!"

Example of small talk:

"YO! Hey whats up man? What you been doing?"
"Oh.. yeah I had a baby and shit..."
"Oh thats cool....."

"OK BYE!"
"BYE!"

Cut the small talk

If someone says 'cut the small talk', it means that this pointless conversation is headed nowhere and has no meaning. It can be used when:
- The person is tired of wasting their time and energy talking or doing something with someone, feeling it is going nowhere

Applicable situations:
1) First encounter with a stranger, too much small talk
2) Multiple encounters with stranger, with nothing happening
3) Estranged family members, you mutually both wouldn't go out of your way to meet them after the event

Do not use if you:
- Will feel awkward afterwards, or feel the need to talk to people around you to prevent 'awkward silence'
- Have got no balls (applicable to male and female)

Do use if you:
- Would rather sit there in another persons company and not talk because theres no point.

Small Talk

Conversations about nothing that make you waste your breath, time, energy and ask why me? People with low intelligence usually make small talk because they do not want you to realize how stupid they are. Small talk is why people have become dumb, conformed and useless. Small talk is a way for nosy people to try and find out who you are. And when they do not find out who you are, they keep the small talk going leading to infinite small talk about nothing of substance. What is better than small talk? Dentist. What is better than small talk? Falling asleep on the subway with an open purse.

Small talk-Person 1: It's cold today...Person 2. Yes, it is.

Talking about apps on the iPhone/iTouch for means of a light conversation.

Person1: Hey, have you checked out the weather app on the iPhone??

Person2: Arn't there better things the discuss...like the fact that I'm getting soaked out here in the rain?

Person1: (thinks) Maybe next time I should use my iSmalltalk inside...
