schedule II

A category of drugs that can be legally prescribed but are the most stringently monitored because of their potential for abuse and {diversion. Schedule II drugs include stimulants such as cocaine, amphetamine and opiates such as fentanyl, which is far more dangerous than heroin, even though the latter is Schedule I. While Schedule I drugs have been deemed as having "no medical value" and cannot be prescribed because they are presumably the most dangerous, Schedule II drugs are generally far more dangerous and addictive than Schedule I drugs. The fact that non-lethal drugs such a cannabis, and psychedelics such as LSD and peyote are Schedule I drugs say more about the period when the schedules were created (as part of the 1970 Controlled Substances Act, under Nixon) than they do about the actual danger of the drugs.

Dr. Feldman's ability to prescribe Schedule II drugs was suspended after the DEA noticed he was prescribing thousands of Percocets at a time to six buxom women he knew from Temple.

Schedule Stalking

Schedule stalking typically occurs in the workplace with hourly employees. It involves

1. Immediately checking as soon as the schedule goes up to see if a certain person is working the same shifts as you, often someone of romantic interest.

2. Scanning the entire list of employees to find out who is working with you on a given day.

3. Actually writing down any of this information so you can plan for it (looking good on a certain day, et cetera).

Person 1: "Hey, what are you doing here? I didn't think you were working today."
Person 2: "I'm filling in for Debbie, she called out."
Person 1: "Oh, I see."
Person 2: "Why, have you been schedule stalking me?"

In the United States, when a substance (drug) has a legal status of highly-illegal. It is also listed as having no medicinal value.

Marijuana is schedule 1 along with meth and heroin. There is huge controversy over the scheduled status of weed.

A person who maniacally controls the schedule of a group gathering or event to the point where everyone else wants to kill them.

This person is particularly rampant during family events and the hectic holiday season.

"Guys, we need to be back by 4pm or the baby is going to miss his nap. Do you have your shoes on yet? Were leaving in 3 minutes. I'm going to wait in the car" * door slam *

schedule shuffle

The act of not attending any classes until the last available date to change classes for the semester, and then dropping all previous classes and adding new ones in order to be able to tell your professor, "I just added this class yesterday" and avoid being accountable for the quickly accumulating absences.

Marcin missed the first two weeks of the semester so he did the schedule shuffle to avoid awkward conversations with disrespected teachers and avoid absence penalties.
