1.Beating someone at an activity ie. An Online game, and using saying "pwnt!" as a show of victory.
Contrary to other bacrounds I've heard a more interesting one where it developed from "porn owned" as in saying its as good as or better than porn.

Refer to the other definition except pwnt was not an accidental mis-spell of the word "owned" or "ownt". Yes, the 'p' IS beside the 'o' geographically on the keyboard, however, the word 'pwn' actually means 'pure ownage'. GGKTHXn00b.

Originnally a typo of own, pwn also can be looked at as "Pawned." pwnt is just the past tense of pwn.
