Puxe

Expression used to describe the intuitive physical movement of pulling and pushing a door repeatedly before entering or leaving. Generally, this occurs in commercial establishments in countries that don’t standardize a correct sense of opening doors, causing people to get used to performing these movements on almost all doors that are not intimate.

Every time Paul visits Brazil, he needs to puxe all the doors he wants to pass through.

Madeiran south coast slang for something really cool. Often pronounced as pshud.
It is commonly used to describe something difficult or tough, though the meaning above is the one often used by teens and young adults.
Someone who is a puxado is often characterized with the following:
- Element schoolbag/clothes
- Adidas, vans or nike shoes
- Smoking addiction (optional)
- Known by lots of ppl
- Frequent trips to funchal
