Pull a "T"

The action of telling a lie, where the results of the truth literally wouldn't have made a difference. Whereas, the lie, was utterly pointless and caused more problems than the truth.

"Hey man, are you home?"
"No, I'm not home"
*Finds out they really are home, they are just raking the leaves*
"Damn dude, I can't believe you'd Pull a "T" on me like that."
