A poner is someone who poses to be a stoner. They claim they’re ‘pros’ and total weed masters but have no idea wtf they’re doing or talking about.

A mixture between a Prep and a Stoner; a person who smokes the sacred herb and/or has a positive out look on marijuana, but is also considered to be in the social category of Preppy based upon the Hollister, Abercrombie&Fitch, American Eagle, &Aeropostale brand clothing they wear and by the follow out of regular preppy activities such as shit talking*, being two-faced*, and homewrecking*.
