Pippi Longstocking

Pippi is the voice of those without, an anarchist-feminist (and possibly socialist) Swedish childrens' book charachter from the 60's and 70's.

Together with her two best friends Tommy and Annika, 8-ish year old Pippi sails the world, beats up grown men, carries her horse, adopts a monkey, meets her father - the pirate Blue Beard and - above all- swears to never grow up.

I am NOT doing the laundry two days before I actually run out of clean clothes - I mean you have to ask yourself What Would Pippi Longstocking Do?

Played by Billy Boyd, Pippin has an excellent singing voice and is one of the cutest Fellowship members! If you see a sweet hobbit-looking boy you can call him a Frodo, but if he also has a sense of humour you call him Pippin.

Pippin

Pippin is a sarcastic and funny person. They enjoy the misery of others quite often, but do have a soft spot for their friends. Pippins have a hard time making friends because they are very picky about who they choose to be friends with and why. If you're friends with a Pippin, know that you are very lucky. Word of advice to those friends with Pippins, don't get on their bad side...it can also be used to describe someone.

I love you like a Pippin! You're the bestfriend someone could ask for.

Mock-pompous English greeting which conveys jocular familiarity on the recipient. Sometimes used in conjunction with "What ho!" and "Old bean" for maximum effect. Derived from PG Wodehouse's Jeeves and Wooster.
