Small, unincorporated town surrounded by Oakland, California. Predominiately caucasian, upper-middle class population. Most residents identify with a more liberal political affiliation. Piedmont is usually classified by it's "Upper" region; El Cerrito Ave. and Eastward. "Baja Piedmont," is the area below this, and it is shunned by the SUV-driving residents of the adjacent "Upper" reigon.

Get the Piedmont mug.Piedmont, California is a very wealthy and established part of Bay Area in the hills surrounded completely by Oakland. It boasts prestigious architecture by Julia Morgan, Maybek and Albert Farr and some of the best public schools in the United States. The dividing line between upper and lower Piedmont is open for debate but most call anything below Grand to Pleasant Avenue, "Baja Piedmont". Despite the upper part of Piedmont having an ultra rich reputation, dotted throughout the Châteaus and massive compounds are relatively tiny one level "Nouveau riche" homes. Piedmont was initially a place that people moved to for social climbing and was once a very conservative all white part of the Bay Area with few Asians, Latinos or Blacks though in the past two decades voting has been overwhelmingly Democrat and the town has more racial diversity. They have a world famous bird calling contest each year with the winner appearing on David Letterman.

Piedmont Hills High School is located in San Jose, Ca on Piedmont Road. Home of the Pirates. School colors are maroon and black. Our enemy school is independence high. It is hard to get into the school. High test scores and high drama.
The whole school is DRAMA.
The groups include: frshmen- most of them stick in the freshmen area, they are super annoying. Football- they hang out in packs and after their seasons over they are losers. Nerds- usual stick to the back of the school. Philipinos- hang out together in the sophmore area. Skaters/ druggies- ususally mob around in groups or at the tables. The perfect people- in the back of the lockers. Juniors- in the junior hallway seniors- senior hallway. Soccer players- freshmen area. Badass/"popular" hip hopish people: by the lunch line.
Mezdez and Branco are the most irrateding people you will have at this school cause they will get you for anything and they drive in stupid little golf carts.
This school is full of secrets, drama, and bullshit.

Get the Pigmontis Crallian mug.A small town adjacent to Oakland which is known for being mainly white with other minority groups sprinkled in. The majority of its residents are upper middle class or wealthier and the children of Piedmont are either enrolled in its "very good" public school system or attend immensely expensive private schools in the immediate Bay Area. But, it's worth noting that this town is not full of typical all-American families. Most people are liberal and most of the children indulge in dubious behavior to which their parents are oblivious to, especially because mansions are pretty big and the parents are generally too busy making money to raise their children properly.
