pathological liar

When someone is clearly lying but their state of mind, (usually mentally unstable) takes control and makes them lie. In some cases it can clearly be shown as a lie but the liar will continue to lie, ultimately digging a larger hole for themselves.

Owen: Benny I know you sent screen shots to that girl

Benny: False, i have nothing to do with her
Owen: *sends screen shots of the conversation

Benny: Wasn’t me, was someone else
Owen: Your being a pathological liar

A person who lies so often, they start to believe that if they say it then it must be true. And they expect everyone else to believe them as well.

Katie is such a pathalogical liar, she would be offended if she told you the sky was green and you didn't believe her.

Pathological Cheater

A person that cheats (in relationships is the most common) excessively to get what they want. with no regard for others. there is also Compulsive Cheater which is similar accept its more of a habit to them, they have less control over it. Pathological Cheater has more control over it and knows what they are doing and do it anyway at whatever cost. Usually with either "disorder"/"symptom" it will be accompanied with pathological lying and compulsive lying.

symptoms:
(may include all or some)

-has cell phone locked and wont let you near their phone (includes going out of their way to make sure it wouldnt be an easy task to get near their phone)
-ignores your calls but never has a straight story as to where they were(goes with lying)
-blocks certain things from you besides their phone (facebook, myspace, live journal, aim... ect)
-smells like another male/female
-doesnt know your number
-lies..... A LOT!
-they come off distant, maybe not as sexual
-they prefer to be at your place over theirs
-you dont know any of their friends or maybe just 1 or 2

i knew he was a pathological cheater when i saw emails from another woman saying 'i love you' to him all the time and no negative reaction in response

Pathological

Often pathological parenting is used within alienating a child from a parent out of spite and tactically using the child to affect a parents contact or relationship when divorce or separation is a issue to a parent unable to separate the relationship with their children from their relationship with the mother or father on the receiving end of the vengeance carried out. Sadly it is bad parenting and often abusive behaviour to use a child in this way as it affects them often more than the target parent they are trying to get back at . It too often goes unrecognised even by mental health workers and the like avoiding it being a court issue which tend to play it down and if recognised for the true affect it has courts dont take it into consideration that is relevant to the case outcome or seen for the seriousness it should be for the damning emotional impact on their very own children

Pathalogical is a term used in psychology to determine a mindset or mentality that is often associated with psychopaths and narcassists and is detrimental to others and in extremities is abusive and destructive . Pathological liars are seen as unable to control their constant need to lie.

One-upping to such a degree, involving, caused by, or of the nature of a mental disease, where an upper is incapable of ever stopping and must refute any up of a fellow upper, even if the up makes no logical sense at all.

Pathological Idiot

A condition where people have unnaturally high levels of stupidity.

The condition usually sets in around 14 to 15 years of age but sometimes it can occur in younger and older people.

Symptoms include lack of general knowledge, no sense of self-preservation and obliviousness to the people surrounding them.

The majority of year 10 at Beverly Hills Girls High School. That should speak for itself.

Yup, its tragic how many year 10's suffer from it.
