Beauty pageants are for any ages as there are different categories. The title the beauty queen wins is important to them. Example, Ms Universe. Beauty queens are dedicated to helping out in the world and do charity work to raise money for charities. Girls competing in a beauty pageant have to look gorgeous so they get their makeup, tan and hair done to stand out.

Shes competing in a beauty pageant so she has to get her makeup and hair done at 3 o clock.
