Plural: Pabodians Pah-bow-dee-uhnz

1. A person likened to the mythical Phoenix bird, who stands out after a storm or who emerges with strength from a difficult situation.

2. One who is resilient.

It's origin is rooted in the Ijaw word "pabodei" which means "to emerge" or "to stand out".

A Pabster is a punk ass bastard. It can also be someone who drinks a lot of Pabst Blue Ribbon, a low quality, relatively inexpensive brand of beer. If you happen to be a punk ass bastard and drinking a Pabst at then same time then you are a dabster (short for double Pabster) or a "pabster dabster".

pabst blue ribbon

A classic american pilsner. Although I used to think this beer inferior because it sells for $8 a case, you can actually smell and taste malt and hops in this beer. It is a far better beer than bud, coors, miller, busch, rolling rock, or any other american swill.

Pabst Trap

A "Pabst Trap" is a series of empty beer cans, typically Pabst Blue Ribbon, strung together with fishing line and set across a low-speed roadway at night. Typical Pabst Trap catches include vehicles, bicyclists, and drunk Navajos.

The man stopped and exited his car, examined the cause of clamour, and exclaimed: "Oh! It's a Pabst Trap!" before returning to his vehicle.
