A synonym of the Malay word "babi" which means pig. The word "noreen" can also be used to describe pork or anything that relates to the nature of pig. Usage of the word "noreen" reportedly arises due to the shocking news of a Malaysian star Noreen Iman where she mistakenly ate pork belly sandwich in London as a result of her own ignorance upon checking the ingredients of the sandwich.
