Nuting

Slang for "Nothing." Similar to the term nuttin', this particular colloquialism is believed to have originated from Holly Hill, a poverty-stricken area known for the under-educated residents, north of Daytona Beach, Florida.

First known use: 1975

Jeremy: Pa, you drank all my beer... Can you give me $5 so I can buy a 6-pack of Busch in a can?
Billy: I owe you nuting!
Jeremy: Dagnabit pa! You ain't good fur nuting!

Brown Noting

The payment of goods or services with sheets of toilet paper. Since the corona virus out break, hoarding mentality has caused a scarcity of toilet paper, which in turn has lead to toilet paper becoming a currency in its own right.

Hey Tom, I’ll sell that to you for $2, or if your prefer to make use of our new brown noting facilities that will be 6 brown notes.

the act of reading spark notes on a book for class instead of actually reading the book. usually done the night before a test or when the book should have been read by.

Guy: What are you up to?
Girl: Just spark noting that stupid book for english.
Guy: The boring one about Africa?
Girl: Yeah the test is tomorrow.

Nating

Nating (also used as 'nating): Being indecisive, moping, stalling, waiting and not acting. Stalling and not acting on a decision even if the decision has already been made. Common condition for most men to be in at some point in life. The opposite of "giving it all" or "going all in" (see Maxxing).
