Neglope

When you're fast pacing towards your destination so as to beat the other persons right behind you but somehow. Yet somehow they still arrive before you.

The word originated from the word envelope, enclosed and slope all jumbled up on March 13th 2019 as PewDiePie was just about under T-Series in subs.

We walked as fast as we could but those plebs still managed to neglope us.

The teacher somehow managed to neglope us, I swear he was a few blocks away from class.
