drinking narcolepsy

Drinking Narcolepsy is a chronic neurological disorder induced by alcohol consumption and characterized by overwhelming daytime drowsiness and sudden attacks of sleep. If the urge becomes overwhelming, patients fall asleep for periods lasting from a few minutes to several hours and fall asleep at inappropriate times and places such as bars and restaurants. Drinking Narcolepsy should not be confused with passing out as a Drinking Narcolep will fall asleep, rally, drink some more, only to fall asleep again. This cycle is repeated throughout the day and into the evening.
Tara's drinking narcolepsy was out of control up at Lutsen. She drank and snowboarded all day, fell asleep on the chairlift, fell asleep after snowboarding, fell asleep after hottubbing, and fell asleep in the restaurant.

The act of falling asleep on public transportaion, including, but not limited to, subways, buses, trains, taxis, etc.
Krista's transportation narcolepsy during her daily BART ride to work frequently results in her missing her stop, drooling on herself, and people mistaking her for a homeless person.

The condition where a person, who is not tired, instantly falls asleep or becomes sleepy when in a classroom setting. After leaving the classroom the person is once again alert.

Pasternakian Narcolepsy

The inability to stay awake when reading any work bu Boris Pasternak especially his most famous work Doctor Zhivago. More than 30% of High School students suffer from this condition without even knowing it. While narcolepsy is the main symptom. Other symptoms may include: Excessive amounts of drool, fatigue, eye pain, hallucinations, nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, and diarrhea. Suicide can also occur when combined with large amounts of alcohol. Those diagnosed with this condition should refrain from driving or using heavy machinery while reading the novel.
