Comes from the idea of capturing and unleashing the very essence of a city, the heat, traffic, gridlock, rudeness, selfishness, frustration crime, people moving causing friction like electrons furiously orbiting an increasingly unstable nucleus of wrath, the seething rage that is one degree away from reaching the boiling point - hence, "municipal", which means of, or like a city.
The ravers wouldn't stop blasting their techno into the wee hours of the morning, so we had to get municipal on their ass.

The Waukegan Municipal Beach is located at 201 Sea Horse Drive, Waukegan, Illinois 60085 (north of Chicago, Illinois). The beach is open daily from 6 A.M. to 9 P.M. and is free to residents of Waukegan, Illinois and $20.00 to non-residents of Waukegan, Illinois on weekends. The Waukegan Municipal Beach features one mile of sand along with some of the only remaining natural dunes in the Lake County, Illinois area. Recreational activities include swimming, sunbathing, picnicking, and sand volleyball. Also, open sand area gives the opportunity to play beach soccer, beach football, and other sports and activities. There is a concession stand open everyday from 10 A.M. to 9 P.M. There are no lifeguards on duty at this facility and swimming should be done so at your own risk.

n. A small-town law enforcement agency in some God-forsaken suburb that is almost always corrupt. The cops that work these jobs are generally geeky, suburban white guys that were picked-on in high school and never got laid -but were able to make the small-town political connections in order to get the job -which is the ultimate suburban power-trip. These cowboy cops are very accustomed to having their asses kissed by virtually everyone in the towns they serve because it offers political clout to the ass-kissing residents as well as a PBA card & "name-dropping" power that will get them out of a problem down the road. Residents that don't play this game nor pay the proper respect to these modern-day feudal lords will find themselves to be targets and, at some point, have some legal problems(usually trumped-up charges as punishment for not bowing-down) that will ultimately cost time and money.
Careful your speed. Don't wanna have to deal with any yahoos from this small town municipal police department.

Whilst easily defeated by any competent soldier; they pose a serious threat to the average citizen. They are the Storm Troopers of the United States Government. Also known as: police, cops, pigs, 12, 5-0, Coppers (for those old folk), dog killers, and wife beaters.
