microfiction

A short story, usually no more than 300 words, becoming more and more popular on the Internet. One suspects that the technology of portable readers has helped this genre along. Also known as "flash fiction." Wikipedia offers Aesop's Fables as some of the earliest and best-known microfictions.

One ancient and respected microfiction is Aesop's "The Fox and the Grapes," whence we get the expression "sour grapes."

Refers to either:
(1) Archival film made from organic leftovers from da seafood industry.
(2) Long strips of celluloid negatives dat contain photos of da wimpy-sized bass and trout dat you hooked and then threw back.

If ya value da status of yer dental health, ya should never ask a typical forked-tongued angler ("I fish, therefore I lie") to show ya his rolls of microfish.

microcheating

Not quite cheating but feels bad or rude enough you kind of want to call it cheating but you can’t word it any better so you just create a new word.

Jayred feels betrayed by your repost of a hot celebrity and believes you are microcheating.

Microcheating

When someone ‘cheats’ in small ways that are not conventionally considered cheating.

This term is typically only used by people who lack an understanding of how relationships work, as cheating is can be any violation of the relationship agreement between two people. Cheating will look different based on the boundaries of every couple, so microcheating doesn’t actually mean anything.

Isabelle: “when he asks me what my biggest fear is and I can’t say him microcheating on me throughout the relationship and never finding out, so I just say spiders”
