1. Another term for heroin, due to heroin sometimes having a yellowish white appearance and being the ultimate mellowing out drug, the name "Mellow Yellow" was coined. Commonly mistaken and misused to refer to other drugs.
2. The name of a 1967 song by Donovan, who was referencing heroin usage, ironically this song has been used in multiple family oriented ad campaigns for food and drink.
