Kaori Sakamoto is the 2021 figure skating world champion. She holds a world record for edges so deep they cut through the core of the earth, and yet another for her double axel, which traveled all the way from Japan to Sweden in only a few seconds.

(I don’t want to spread false information, Kaori is not really world champion, but she is in my heart.)
