When you stop at the bar to fit that last quick beer in and as your done chugging it and you're walking out you "verp" some in to your own hand, but not wanting to get it on the floor you just slurp it out of your own hand.

He chugged that last beer and on the way out he "hedged it."

State-backed hate edging to a controversial person as they suffer life destroying or reputation ending results. Hate edging is a long term practice, and is often increased extreme posting that over time produces the Hedged result.

The hate posting about Kyle Rittenhouse going to prison continued long after he was acquitted. Showing that many were simply hedging to the idea of him going to prison instead of actively seeking justice.
