'LOVE' Ebonics

Ebonics are the simplification and shorthand of American English. Other definitions on Urban Dictionary have a negative perspective of Ebonics mostly because of the content of what is said. While that is relevant information it doesn't quite get at the root of what Ebonics is, which is a language device for efficiency. In that way it is Permaculture and a very beautiful thing indeed.

ebonics

(n.) derivative word form resulting from the combination of "ebony" (referring to pigmentation) and "phonics". An evolving form of American English popularized in multimedia. Once only heard/spoken primarily in impoverished urban neighborhoods, it has infiltrated American culture to the point where some of the nation's largest public school districts even considered teaching it as part of the general curriculum.

The "For Dummies" publishing company would make a mint if they printed an "Ebonics For Dummies" title.

greenwich ebonics

Greenwich Ebonics is the unofficial slang language spoken in Greenwich, Connecticut. Well-used and popular within Greenwich High School, Greenwich's 2,700-student public senior high school, this language is virtually impossible to understand unless you are from greenwich.
Here are some key terms:

biddy- slightly derogatory slang term for a girl
dank- awesome/powerful; potent
get nice- to succeed or be talented at something
hooksit- used in a variety of ways...
mad- used like "chill", or "cool"
nugs- joints/drugs
swilled- drunk
