Social Decay

The state of a city and it's culture when it's population is too great and the subsequent infrastructural/behavioral problems that are associated with excess become obvious. Social decay occurs and can be seen on both the physical level of everyday life in a city (abandoned buildings, vacant collapsing houses, streets in poor condition, etc) and on the emotional state of it's inhabitants (narcissism, social anxiety, paranoia, etc). Typically people are generalized into a vast and generic group called "strangers" and these strangers are often ignored completely (by other strangers) in order to keep the city running efficiently and problems associated with poor behavior suppressed. The only time strangers interact with each other is when one stranger offers another stranger a service or something that the other stranger needs or wants.

Examples of Social Decay:

Stranger A: Would you like a bag for your food?
Stranger B: Yes

Stranger A: Would you like to help out the homeless today?
Stranger B: No

Stranger A: Hey baby, can I buy you a drink?
Stranger B: Sure

Stranger A: Can I sit here?
Stranger B: I don't know man, it's too hard to tell!

Other Examples:

People that are afraid to leave their apartment because of fear of strangers.

People that feel they are eroding but only as an expression of what they see around them.

The overall and overwhelming sensation that everything is collapsing and must be destroyed to start anew.

A car on fire.

Police shooting protestors.

Gang violence.

Network Decay

The condition which occurs at a cable network when idiotic executives decide to change its direction. This is usually done as a money-grabbing attempt when ratings are lower than expected.

"Remember when TLC used to have shows that taught you something? Yeah, it didn't suck then. Network Decay is bullshit."

The risk of rapid deterioration in the quality of the Urban Dictionary, due to the inclusion of moronic idioms and expressions.

Man... is becoming a nightmare to try to find witty words in the Urban Dictionary. Some editors are approving definitions that really suck. I am deeply concerned of Urban Decay ´cause I love UD.

When a girl that is a solid 8 slowly becomes less attractive due to an excessive use of drugs. This process usually begins in middle school and starts with weed as the girl ages she becomes more open to harder drugs. Eventually after year of abuses many girls will begin: to have excessive tattoos, and piercings, acquire a bad taste for music and cloths, dye their hair unusual colors, develop unusual facial features, and become extremely skinny. The process of weedioactive decay is complete in 3 ways 1 your younger sister become hotter than you, 2 you resemble a crack addict 3, you resemble a vampire

Nut Decay

The progressive decay of a man's nuts due to the existence of a wife and kids.

Nut decay is typically based on a half-life theorem or progressive exponential decay. A man will on average lose 50% of their nuts due to a women joining their life and half their remaining nuts with each child.

My good friend used to be a stud, but after getting married and having 5 kids he's barely a man. We're talking about serious Nut Decay.

A type of decay that causes a person to age backwards. This was first discovered By Benjamin K. In the second grade. There are only 5 known cases of Barry Decay in the world. This was first discovered on a man named Barry Anshutz, while being experimented on my Benjamin K. This is still a mystery on why and when this happened but the lead and most intelligent scientist in the world Benjamin K. is studiying it now.
