Know as ''lamping'' everywhere outside of Kerry (Commonly used term throughout Ireland). Method of hunting foxes using off-road vehicles and high-powered lights, spotlights, lamps or flashlights, that makes special use of the eyeshine revealed by the fox.
Whilst dazzed, the fox will remain stationary while another person is able to kill the fox by use of rifle/dog.
