A creepy-cute aesthetic similar to traumacore combined with elements of cutecore, weirdcore. Some elements include fake gore, themes of self harm, sanrio characters, lots of pink, anime girls, bandages, blood, bugs, meat, intrusive thoughts and similar messages typed out on the pictures, generally cutesy/childish things, liminal living spaces, knives, etc. The point is to have a contrasting aesthetic between the cutesy elements and the very grim and violent ones. Not all media is purely dark matter, but can just be dark humor.

Cutegore is definitely not for everyone but there is still a strong community that enjoys it.

Doki Doki Literature Club is an example of cutegore, and is often used in moodboards and various other visual cutegore media.

The act of typing in a way that is meant to be overly cute. This may or may not include emoticons, dashes to imply stuttering, emotes, tildes, referring to oneself in third person or media to accompany the message.

Cubemonkey

Someone who works in a call centre, in those small enclosed call cubicles. They often have to follow call scripts and proceedures and claim to be /sound knowledgeable on the subject that youre calling about, when really they dont know that much at all. Any variation from the cube, leaves them unable to talk with you, both literally and in terms of knowledge.Sometimes they can bwe quite unhelpful and leave you feeling like you've gotten nowhere.

I tried to call XYZ Company today for some support, and all I could do was to speak with some CubeMonkey who kept telling me to check I'd plugged it in that it couldn't be them /wasnt their problem.
