A woman possessing all the same qualities of a cougar, except just a bit older. Usually a woman in her early to mid 50s. Cougar Deluxes are much more rare than cougars, and their wisdom makes up for any aging that has occured.

Cougar Denial

The denial of being a cougar. Usually someone who thinks they are "too young" or thinks their prey isn't young enough. Years of denial can lead to very severe cases of cougarism.

Annie thinks that just cuz she's 29 she can't be a cougar but she totally is! People think they guy she's dating is her son! She's totally in cougar denial!

35 year old woman: "Man that guy is a stud!"
Friend: "He looks 20! You're such a cougar!"
35 year old woman: "No way! I'm only 35, and 35 is the new 30"
Friend: You're in Cougar Denial!"

Cougar Droppings

Originally meant small tokens or food left by an older (often rich) woman (cougar) for a much younger man to keep him coming back, in a positive way. The meaning has changed slightly to mean any personal belongings left by the cougar in a negative way.

Oh man, I almost got so busted last night.

Why man, what happened?

Oh, my girl found cougar droppings in my bedroom.

What?!? Did she leave her bra?

Hell no, she left her teeth in a glass of water. Lucky for me, I was able to tell my girl that my moms had visited me and used my room while I slept on the couch.

Cougar Dance

The "dance" move reserved for intoxicated older women that think they are still sexy. The move starts with a VERY slow gyrating of the hips, while slowly extending the arms toward the sky. The eyes typically remain closed for the entirety of the performance. It is commonly seen at concerts by artists that are past their prime or cover bands of artists that are past their prime.

Dude, I went to a Bruce Springsteen cover band concert for the 4th of July and there was some serious cougar dance-ing going on.

Cougar Den

A bar or a club where there are plenty of Cougars to be found out on the prowl on the weekends. Often a place where a good live band on the weekends and younger men hang out. It can also be a bar that caters to the office crowd at lunch hour on the weekdays, the Cougars will come back to the same familiar place to party for happy hour or on the weekends.

The Sticky Wicket Grill on South Broad Street in Hamilton, NJ is a Cougar Den because it's close to the state offices of Trenton, which is where a lot of the Cougars in that area work. When one of the better local cover bands are playing, the place is packed to the walls with Cougars and Cougar Cubs on the prowl!
