A dubious friend paid me a complisult. After viewing several of my paintings they said..."Now THAT ONE I like!!"

complislam

A remark that is meant as a compliment about one person that is taken as a slam by another. I can't believe she's yor grandmother {the woman looks many years younger than she is}. Grand daughter just how old do you think I am?{the grand daughter thinks you said she looks much older than she is} A reason to keep your mouth shut.

With that complislam I put my foot in my mouth so deep it came out my ass.

Complishit

A pandering , totally condescending PC compliment directed at usually a small child but occasionally a woman; common when kids call in NPR talk show, struggle through dumb question and then hosts fawn all over them.

I was listening to NPR when this not very bright 6 year old called in and asked what “cacaluda” meant ; the hosts started wildly kissing up, natch, paying them a total complishit

The being named Alex's laugh can only be described with this word. The only other possible way of describing it would be 🧌+🦆.

Alex's strange laugh is quite compiste.
The compiste laugh was quite disturbing to listen to after long moments of silence.

When you are complimented and insulted in the same sentence.

Example of a complisult: "You are not the smartest person I know, but you are not the dumbest either."
