A magazine about contemporary Christian music that's been around since 1978. Also, it's not just a magazine title anymore. Somewhere along the line, it became a term used for contemporary Christian music that has nothing to do with the magazine. CCM is in no way a genre of music. Rather, it's certain bands and artists within every single genre of music.
CCM includes these artists/bands, as well as hundreds of others:
pop - Bethany Dillon, ZOEgirl
AC pop - Micheal W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman
pop punk - Relient K, Hawk Nelson, Stellar Kart, MxPx
punk - Anberlin
emo - Showbread
hardcore - Underoath
metal - Norma Jean, Disciple, The Showdown
metalcore - Haste the Day
rap - The Cross Movement, KJ-52
rapcore - Thousand Foot Krutch, TobyMac
soft rock - Jeremy Camp
crunk rock - Family Force 5
stupid poser bands - Switchfoot

ccms is the abbreviated form for the phrase 'cool, cool, makes sense'. The phrase is used to acknowledge a logical explanation given by another person in a nonchalant manner. Usually, the correct pronunciation demands that you speak the 'c' in an american accent. Sometimes, this phrase is used to fill awkward silences in a conversation.
for example,
software developer: hey, this is the logic to my code.
manager: uhhh...hmm..hmmm...cool,cool,makes sense (CCMS).
software developer: gee, thanks man.
