A term previously used to smear Bernie Sander’s campaign in 2016 based on a fictional premise that Sander’s supporters hated women. The false premise was perpetuated by associating misogynistic movements from some of Trump’s supporters as Bernie Supporters.

More recently it is used to describe a Bernie Sanders supporter that believes in doing morally positive things that progress society.

Those Bernie Bros just Stood up to that systemically oppressed man over there, I wish more people would put their money where their mouth is like they do!

The Bernie Brothers are two very liberal brothers. They're obnoxious Bernie Sanders supports who say things like "feel the bern" and "Bernie or bust" very often, even if it isn't relevant at all. They were woke before woke was a political term, and they've been supporting Bernie since the day they were born. Nobody knows where they came from, but everyone knows who they are.

Person B: Yeah, they got super pissed at him because he said that he didn't vote for Bernie
