americanime

Americanime is an American cartoon with visual art influenced by Japanese animation, also known as anime. It's mostly a fad; cartoonists exploiting the recent popularity that anime has gotten in North America in the past decade or so.

It has the thin veneer of anime, but the characters, plots, and dialogue all lack the depth and clever writing of their Japanese cousin, and the stories are all episodic (with one of the exceptions being Avatar perhaps. That Americanime rivals its Japanese counterparts in writing.) In other words, it's a kid's cartoon that is drawn like an anime.

I hate that Americanime shit. It's a boring fad and doesn't hold a candle to true anime.

Used most commonly by those that live in the United Kingdom/Britain or accross the pond.

Describes and denotes the sheer lack of:
- intelect
- self-respect
- creativity
- government services
in an area and where its population can be:
- obsessed with fast food
- clinicly obese
- unable to speak English GB
- unable to write English GB or traditional Prose.
- consisting of chavs
- unable to get 80 on an IQ test
- very communal, no such thing in traditional England, we hate our neighbours.

Note: this word is NOT spelt with a Z.

The act of Americanisation is where something is made to comply with the above. Americanising a community would consist of getting a McDonalds built.

Where the streets seem very, very straight, like 5 Roman Roads all connecting.

American franchises hanging everywhere, like KFC, McDonalds etc.

Cardcaptor Sakura was considered an excellent anime by many, but when Sakura and everyone else was Americanized, several fans committed seppuku, even though they weren't worth it.

Africanized wife

An ordinary wife, who through years of marital evolution, that has evolved from a loving "do anything for ya" person to become easily agitatied and can be provoked to attack the unfortunate spouse (usually a combination or verbal and mental attacks) without provocation, often times marked with an overkill tone of superiority.

I overheard the beatdown Geoff got from his wife the other night over some petty shit. Seems she turned into an Africanized wife; cause four years ago I would have overheard how he was banging her after a light scuffle.
