Hybrid generation born in the late 90's (1995-99). Not old enough to be millennials while able to remember plenty of time before the smartphone/skinny jean era that took hold in 2013. The years 2008-2012 were their heyday as they were in middle school/early high school. Zillennials also reached their 20's before the 2010's were over. They don't really associate with the gloomy/nihilistic/technology-centric culture of Gen Z and cling to older generations' interests as they lack their own unique identity.
If you're too young for a millennial but can still miss the days of baggy jeans, Aeropostale hoodies, and the 2000's-early 2010's internet, then you're a zillennial.

“I never had a cassette player, but I’m also not into Tiktok, because I’m a Zillennial. I grew up in a nationalist America as a result of the 9/11 attacks.”

“I’m in the middle of an existential crisis. I can’t tell which generation I’m apart of... so I made up my own — Zillennial.”

Relating to the generation of people born after the Millennials, generation Z; in which your birth year is in the late 90’s or mid 2000’s
“They don’t call it the ‘internet generation’ for nothing, a Zillennial uses more data than any generation”

A person born at the tail end of Millennials, but just before Gen Z starts. Roughy the years of 1995-1997 fit this small window of people born.
My mom told me I was a Gen Z kid, but I argued that I was Millennial by birth year. I decided to make a term to bridge the gap- Zillennial!

Microgeneration of people born between 1992/1993-1998
Too young to be a Millennial but too old to be a Gen Z'er.
