Much like Yeet, it has multiple uses.
1) Yes (sarcastic, apathetic affirmation)
2) YES (enthused exclamation, Yeet alternative)
3) You (Old English)

1) Upon being asked if he was coming, he replied 'Ye' with a glare.
2a) When Joe heard the news, he yelled 'YE' & pumped his fist.
2b) When Bob threw the rotten apple, he used 'YE' instead of 'YEET'.
3) 'Hear ye, hear ye!' the crier called to get attention.

Ye

Also spelt yé. A Nigerian colloquialism or exclamation used to express surprise (usually in a negative or very unexpected context) or just to lament a bad or unexpected situation. Popular Burna Boy song of the same name is a good example of usage

Guy : My brothers wife slept with the driver

Ye

An adorable sound that only really precious people make. It is the shortened version of “yeah,” but said in a much more cute way. Of course, the only way one can make this sound is if you are very outstanding and delightful.

This sound makes everyone blush, and is the highlight of most people’s day.
