refers to the ability to hold your alcohol far better than the average person, simply because you attended Lehigh University.The majority of those in attendance at LU typically have a Lehigh Tolerance due to the high consumption of alcohol there.

Lehigh has also been known to have invented numerous drinking games: Beirut, Skong.

love tolerance

The amount of CRAP you put up with when you are in a relationship with someone. This includes one's patience to give the other person their way, forgiving them or looking past their wrongs and mistakes, and repeatedly having to give and not receiving the same amount in return.

This can be both a good or a bad trait to have. Patience is a virtue, but too much giving and not enough receiving could be interpreted as a doormat.

Marc Anthony has high love tolerance because he is always tested with his patience with JLo's diva antics.

My friend has higher love tolerance than what I thought she would based on the person she carries herself to be. The amount of *shite she puts up with in her love life, would never be carried the same in other relationships in her life.

The tolerance on parts of products requiring assembly that are made in China. No matter how precisely aligned, the screw, or nuts, or washers, or bolts slip right through their assigned slots. Also known as Chigger rigged.

tolerance

Tolerance is the quality of requiring a larger dose of a certain drug every time to reach the same effects. For example, if you need 2-5 hits to get stoned at first, if you smoke regularly and at close intervals (every day or every other day) you will start requiring more hits to get the same high.

Seriously, everyone here wrote the definition for tolerance which means "patience with and acceptance of other people's beliefs" and not one wrote the drug definition; wierd since most of the definitions on this website are sex or drug related.
