An awkward mix of a child and a teen. Most tweens start dating as soon as possible. Tweens try to be real cool. Tweens still don’t understand life. Tweens learn what sports they are good at. Tweens have learned what music they like and don’t like. Tweens are best age group to be in, even though it gets crazy.

I used to think it was a fusion between teen and weenie, but haven't seen that around anywhere else. They tend to listen to Hannah Montana and the Jonas brothers, also watch Disney all day long. Tend to begin to take on the unruly attitudes that Disney whores display to their mothers in the show. Generally 10-15.

Tweens are girls between the age of 9-12 who wear slutty clothes, wear a ridiculous amount of make-up, watch Disney channel, listen to bubblegum pop like One Direction, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and need to get a dictionary thrown at them. They try to act all grown up when their not. I was walking down my street when a group of girls my age were walking by talking obnoxiously loud about their "boyfriends". In reality what probably happened was the guy or the girl "asked their crush out"(everyone knows about it soon) and started walking around the field together claiming their "dating" when they have never even been on a date. The "relationship" barely last a day. Not all 9-12 years olds are like that( I'm twelve). I find people who are like that just annoying therefore I try to stay away from them. I don't wear make-up at all or wear revealing clothing.

Okay, I'm 11 and I'll get this definition straight to you. Tweens are people who are inbetween the ages of about 9-12. Let me warn you that not all people who are in this age group are not actually that bad like me.
1.) Tweens watch Disney Channel and follow stupid trends and listen to One Direction or Justin Gayber.
2.) They shop at places like Hot Topic, Abercrombie, Hollister, and other shitty places.
3.) They listen to every new pop song.
4.) They type like retards.
5.) They dress like sluts.
6.) They wear 80 pounds of make up

an unfair label for any person who is between the ages of 8 and 12/13. it is an insult to be called a tween. if a person is above the age of 11 they should be refered to as"young adult" or just plain teens. most tweens are labeled as being to young for being a teen, but too old for being a kid, although they act like it. thats bull cause all they want to do is be old enough to drive a car so their parents will stop giving them a hard time. REAL TWEENS ARE THE PREPS WHO LISTEN TO POP AND LIKE PINK AND TEXT TALK MORE THAN NECCESSARY. the other 12/13 year olds who play it straight and dont really fit in anywhere are tyically the cool ones so dont mess with them.
