stealing the A

when a person attempts to harness control of the attention in a crowd of people, just for the sake of having the attention. The method of which they do this has no actualy meaning and is done purely for their own gratification.

Stealing the conversation

It's when one uninvolved and uninvited asshole barges in on a private conversation, and dominates it to the exclusion of one of the original people who was conversing. This can be a form of cockblocking.
Jason: John is a complete asshole. Notice how he is always stealing the conversation?

Joe: Yeah, what a fucking cockblocker!

Stealing the tongue from the foxes mouth

Our lying friend Emmeline tried to convince us that she had the saying "stealing the tongue from the foxes mouth" accepted by Urban Dictionary. This was clearly not true, so now the saying refers to the action of lying about having one's Urban Dictionary suggestions accepted.
Emmeline: Mate, that's well brenga!

You: What? Wtf does "brenga" mean?

Emmeline: Haven't you heard? Everyone's saying it. I made it up and Urban Dictionary accepted it, now it's their Word of the Day.

You: Low it mate, you're stealing the tongue from the foxes mouth again innit!

Stealing the show

Stealing something from somebody (including a show) who would gladly give somebody something doesn't seem like an action with a lot of honor in it. Being indirect about it instead of straightforward makes somebody more of a liar than a thief.
They would've given him/her the show, as it said to do in the script, but he/she still insisted on a coup to steal the show. Stealing the show had always been his/her true intention, to get the best of any of the other guy there was.
