The Jungle

a term used for the low life areas of major cities, especially those filled with drugs and other issues. the phrase was already a rampant slang term, especially in new york and LA, but it was further popularized by Guns n' Roses on their hit song "Welcome to the Jungle". A set of lyrics in the song were quoted from a homeless man trying to scare young runaways back home, "do you know where you are? your in the jungle baby, your gonna die!".

Paul Brown Stadium is nicknamed "The Jungle," an allusion to not only the namesake Bengal tiger's natural habitat but also the Guns N' Roses song "Welcome to the Jungle" which is the unofficial anthem for the team.
