From the word spell and the middle English word felony which at the time was any crime punishable by death or forfeiture of land and goods. When someone butchers the spelling of a word so badly it should require imprisonment.

The practice of exploring caves in order to sit in them and to speculate or theorize about fundamental or serious issues, especially the meaning of life. Portmanteau of "spelunking" and "philosophy".

Warning! Spelosophy is dangerous business. You could end up hitting your head on a stalactite or accidently proving that you don't exist. Leave it to the professionals.
