(adj) to be diverted from an important task by some asshole who keeps wasting your valuable time with other bullshit. A combination of being sidetracked and hijacked.

Sorry I couldn't be at your death bed sooner, Ma. I got sidejacked by this guy at the mall selling gym memberships. He was real convincing. Ma? Ma?

Very similar to sidetracked but only occurs when one is very high on some form of stimulants.

sidetwaked

When a tweeker is stuck, fixated on an aimless project they feel is so important (i.e. picking their nails or taking apart a radio intent on fixing it) they cannot go where they need to be or do what they should be doing.

Tweeker: "I'll be there in 20 minutes."
2 hours later...
Friend: "I thought you said 20 minutes."
Tweeker: "I know. I got sidetwaked."
(note; no further explaination by tweeker is given to friend because friend often times gets sidetwaked as well. Only in the f@#ked up event if it's an employer and not a friend, an explanation would be deemed necessary.
