A person that is trying to look like a scumbag for the sake of street credibility. Usually associated with the skateboarding or rollerblading subcultures. Mustaches, tight pants and punk rock music are a key indicator of a scumster.

"Look at that bunch of Scumsters with their ripped jeans and mustaches, I bet they still live with their mothers".

To redeem one's self; to come through after years of disappointment; to win in grand fashion after having lost in the past. Named after USA curler John Shuster, who came through in the clutch with a gold medal in 2018 after years of frustration.

The Philadelphia Eagles pulled a Shuster when they won Super Bowl LII after years of waiting.
